The New Apton Centre is run by a self-funding charity Age Concern, Bishop's Stortford.  As such, the operations and longevity of our service depends on gaining financial support from our fundraising efforts, and it's simple the more we raise, the more we can do; the better the support we can give to those within our local community.

 

But we need help, our numbers are growing, and we need additional staff to support our clients and continue to help our service grow. 

 

The Practical difference we make:

Our Centre provides a safe and warm environment that hosts over 400 attendees per month over the age of 55, providing 2400 hot meals, a program of choice-based activities, workshops and events that are key to supporting the health and well-being.

We support carers by providing carers with approximately 12,000 hours of much-needed rest bite and host supporting organisation regularly to ensure they have access to support groups for careers for free.
